Special Collections and New Entrance, Glasgow University Library

The new 15,000ft² roof level extension to the existing library building and the refurbishment of levels 2 and 3, are part of the programme to cater for improved access for wheelchair users: the Special Collection in the ground level was moved to a new roof top extension, freeing space for a new landmark entrance providing access for all.

The incorporation of modern technology changes in educational library services was also a key factor for the client.
