Phase 1 includes a new houseblock for prisoners with a segration unit. Phase 2 involves the redevelopment of the existing establishment, including masterplanning the balance of the site to add a second houseblock a regimes building which includes education, sport and laundry facilities and staff acccommodation.

This project builds on the work Holmes have been undertaking with SPS to combine facilities within a single building, using enhanced enclosed circulation routes where prisoners and staff can move around within a naturally lit and environmentally controlled central space.
