Holmes is architect and lead consultant on this major custodial project, providing design services to Carillion for the provision of a 700-cell prison and associated infrastructure.
The new prison, which should be an exemplar of contemporary custodial design, is expected to become operational in 2012. It will benefit from Holmes' expertise and experience of providing bespoke architectural solutions that meet the SPS’s vision and objectives of delivering high-quality modern facilities that provide safe, efficient and humane living and working environments and offer value for money for the taxpayer.
