Submitted as a tender for a New research facility for the University of Glasgow, this proposal seeks to create a contemporary design and strong contextual relationship within the existing Beatson Institute.
A bold, powerful external skin, contrasting with the adjacent institute, encloses a variety of mixed spaces, including laboratories and open plan write-up / office space, organised around a central open atrium space, promoting a fully integrated concept of testing and research.
