The redevelopment of this A-listed city centre bank building provided a major logistical challenge for designer and contractor, and required extensive negotiation with the conservation bodies.

Behind the retained facades, the existing ground floor banking hall has been retained and new floors added above, including a rooftop glass extension. The redevelopment doubles the lettable floor area and delivers Class A accommodation.
