Lesley is a member of the senior management team, responsible for Client care and working alongside the equity partners to implement the Practice’s architectural design, technical and business strategies. Responsibilities include directing implementation of Holmes’ design policy, approach and methodology across the range of building, master planning and consultancy projects. This involves a leading design and management role in project teams through each stage of the design and build process, supervising, directing and managing in-house architects in design development and delivery, from outline proposals to practical completion on site.

Lesley is experienced in leading design teams through different procurement routes. She has particular in-depth experience, knowledge and understanding of designing and delivering educational and commercial developments and has a particular interest in encouraging young talent in the Construction Industry.

Lesley has been working on the South Lanarkshire Primary School Modernisation Programme for Lend Lease Construction Scotland Limited since 2005. She continues to work closely with Client bodies and Stakeholders in the delivery of 11 Phase 2, Tranche 1 schools following the successful completion of 10 state of the art facilities in Phase 1.

She served on the Central Scotland branch committee of Women in Property for five years and held the post of branch chairman in 2008. She now is a member of the City of Glasgow College Board of Management where she will hold for an initial 4 year term.
