Since joining the practice in 1997, and becoming an associate in 2005, David has developed a mature, creative flair for design innovation, coupled with a wealth of experience in delivering practical, achievable design solutions, that exceed Clients’ aspirations, in a broad number of sectors. He plays a key wider role in the Practice, implementing and challenging design approaches throughout in-house design teams, from conceptual design and masterplanning, through to delivery.
David has experience of working in conjunction with Local Planning Authorities, and has gained invaluable knowledge working closely with City Design Advisors, and presentation of detailed design proposals to Architecture and Design Scotland, Urban Design Panels and alike, in sensitive, historically important City Centre locations.
Recently, David has had a central role in the concept design and delivery of the new generation of Scottish custodial properties, and has developed strong relationships with key Stakeholder personnel, developing a series of new, forward thinking design concepts which are aligned to a clear understanding of Client objectives.
