Holmes is the main sponsor of this year’s Central Scotland Branch of Women in Property Annual Dinner. The dinner, which takes place on 27 February at the Glasgow Hilton, is one of the highlights of the Scottish property calendar, with over 400 representatives from the industry expected to attend. This year, Women in Property is raising funds for Breast Cancer 2000, a Scottish charity established in 2000 to support research into cancer treatments.
Lesley Woolfries, chairman of the branch and an associate at Holmes, expressed her appreciation at the announcement of the practice’s support: “Holmes’ sponsorship is very welcome in these difficult economic times. The dinner, now in its 18th year, is one of our main events and is a fantastic opportunity to raise the profile of our student awards, mentoring scheme and other UK-wide initiatives, as well as raising money for an extremely worthwhile cause”.
Holmes partner Callum Houston said: “We are delighted to support the Women in Property annual dinner. We recognise the good work that the association continues to do in Scotland and the rest of the UK, and would encourage professional women from across the industry to join.”
