Holmes achieves combined ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 registration

After a 6 day audit by NQA, Holmes is one of the few firms to have achieved registration for a combined ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Quality & Environmental Management System.
For many years the practice had operated an internally audited QMS based on ISO 9001, but in early 2008 decided that, with the increasing emphasis of environmental matters in all aspects of its work, an externally registered system combining the two standards was necessary to recognise the importance it places in these matters.
An in-house team was established, which, with the assistance of an outside consultant, led the practice through the development and implementation of the systems throughout the practice.
