Hugo Street Housing Official Opening

Holmes Partnership has recently completed part of a residential development in the north of Glasgow for Maryhill and Horizon Housing Associations. Officially opened by Lord Provost Robert Winter on 20 January the 52 unit development, built in conjunction with Bellway Homes (Scotland), has provided high quality homes all designed to comply with Housing for Varying Needs standards and with a number designed to be fully wheelchair accessible.

The development is part of a wider regeneration of Maryhill and Ruchill with these homes providing another key transformation in the area. Proposals for private units which form the rest of the masterplan are currently with Glasgow City Council Planning Department with a view to starting on site Summer 2011.
