Holmes Partner Charles Strong Retires

Charles Strong retired from Holmes after over 37 years in partnership. The occasion was marked by a relaxed partners' lunch at Hotel du Vin on 6 May at which Charles was presented with a gift from all the partners. To mark Harry Phillips' great appreciation of his 40 year business relationship with Charles at Holmes Harry also presented Charles with his own portrait in oil, shown in the photograph, which he had painted in secret as a surprise.
